RED, WHITE, AND BLUE ICE CUBES

These super easy Red, White, and Blue Ice Cubes are a fun way to dress up boring water at your next backyard cookout. Perfect for Memorial Day or Fourth of July!

Serves: 16 ice cubes

INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup red fruit juice
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 cup blue fruit juice or sports drink


DIRECTIONS
Fill an ice cube tray a third of the way full with the red fruit juice; freeze completely, at least 2 hours. Repeat layers with the water, and then the blue juice, freezing completely in between each color.
Serve with regular chilled water, seltzer water, lemon-lime soda, or even lemonade.

PATRIOTIC DRINK (FOR KIDS)

INGREDIENTS Nutrition
3 ounces cranberry juice or 3 ounces fruit punch
3 ounces Gatorade sports drink (blue)
3 ounces sugar free 7-Up or 3 ounces Sprite
ice cube, fill glass to the top with cubes

DIRECTIONS
Place the ice cubes in the bottom 3rd of a tall 12 ounce clear glass. Pour the cranberry juice or fruit punch in to fill the bottom 3rd.
Place a few more cubes in to the middle and pour in the blue Gatorade to fill the glass 2/3 full.
Place the final 3rd of ice in the glass. Pour in the diet 7up or diet Sprite.
Serve and enjoy!

FROSTY PATRIOTIC PUNCH!
What could be more cute than a layered punch on the 4th of July?  These are really simple to make, look adorable and taste great!

INGREDIENTS:
Ice
equal amounts of each Red , White and Blue Drink as listed below

RED LAYER, CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Cranberry cocktail
Hawaiian Punch
Fruit Punch

WHITE LAYER, CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
7 Up
Sprite
Sobe Pina Colada

BLUE LAYER, CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
G2 (Gatorade with low sugar) for a top layer
Regular blue Gatorade (middle layer)
Powerade Zero


DIRECTIONS:

Fill each glass, cup or bottle to the top with ice.
Read each of your labels to see which drink has the highest sugar content, this will go in the glass first (mine was cranberry cocktail). Tip the glass to the side and slowly pour your first layer until your glass is 1/3 full.
Choose your second highest sugar content and pour very slowly ensuring you are pouring over an ice cube to avoid mixing. Fill to 2/3 full.
Repeat with your remaining layer.
Serve and enjoy!
